The Call for Projects of ERDF programming 2021 – 2027

The calls for projects for the new ERDF Programming 2021 – 2027 are published here (in French). They are intended for Brussels-based players.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE 1 – A MORE COMPETITIVE AND A SMARTER EUROPE > Specific Objective 1.1 – Developing and improving research and innovation capabilities

• Action 1: Support and develop RDI infrastructures and enable the investment needed for a regional qualitative leap.
• Action 2. Strengthen support for cooperative and co-creative applied research projects
• Action 3. Support projects that accompany and support social innovation
• Action 4. Support projects that accompany and support innovation to help SMEs set an example in environmental terms
• Action 5: Support the mobilization and implementation of research findings in public policy
• Action 6. Support the creation of a regional infrastructure dedicated to raising young people’s awareness of science

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE 1 – A MORE COMPETITIVE AND SMARTER EUROPE > Specific Objective 1.2 – Harnessing the benefits of digitization for citizens, businesses, research organizations and public authorities

• Action 1: Digital development by public services of services and products linked to the themes identified by the Programme
• Action 2: Initiatives linked to digital appropriation by disadvantaged groups, with priority given to disadvantaged neighbourhoods.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE 1 – A MORE COMPETITIVE AND SMARTER EUROPE > Specific Objective 1.3 > Strengthening the sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs and job creation in SMEs, including through productive investment.

• Action 1: Actions contributing to SME support
• Action 2. investment and accommodation (including infrastructure construction/renovation) for SMEs

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE 2 – A GREENER, RESILIENT AND LOW CARBON EMISSION EUROPE > Specific Objective 2.1 > By promoting energy efficiency measures and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

• Action 1. Energy renovation of regional and local government infrastructures
• Action 2. Energy renovation of public facilities organized by public authorities
• Action 3. Improving the energy performance of existing social and low-income rental housing stock
• Action 4. Pilot projects for the renovation of multi-family dwellings or grouped renovation of private housing on a neighborhood scale.
• Action 5. Financial support for the installation of heating networks on sites of major collective interest, under construction or renovation.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE 2 – A GREENER, RESILIENT AND LOW CARBON EMISSION EUROPE > Specific Objective 2.6 > Promoting the transition to a circular, resource-efficient economy

• Action 1: Strengthen logistical links in terms of collection, sorting and grouping, as well as recycling and reuse.
• Action 2. invest in the development of a network of recycling parks and ressourceries / recycling center / material libraries.
• Action 3. Creation of platforms for transferring, collecting, sorting, dismantling, processing and reconditioning resources/waste/materials (construction and deconstruction) with a view to reuse
• Action 4. Development of regional-scale infrastructures to improve the recovery of organic waste
• Action 5. investments in local circularity strategies linked to the implementation of development clusters

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE 2 – A GREENER, RESILIENT AND LOW CARBON EMISSION EUROPE > Specific Objective 2.7 > By improving the protection and preservation of nature and biodiversity and strengthening green infrastructures, particularly in urban areas, as well as reducing all forms of pollution.

• Action 1. Rehabilitating contaminated land in development hubs to make it available as green spaces or for community activities
• Action 2.1.1. Protection of nature and biodiversity, green infrastructure in the form of support for the creation of public green spaces (including local ones) open to the general public and integrated into specific local urban dynamics, in areas in deficit, the most urbanized areas and development hubs.
• Action 2.1.2. Protection of nature and biodiversity, green infrastructure in the form of support for the greening of public spaces in areas in need, the most urbanized areas and development hubs.
• Action 2.1.3. Protecting nature and biodiversity, green infrastructure by supporting the creation of green spaces made available following the remediation of contaminated land in depressed areas, the most urbanized regions and development hubs.
• Action 2.2. Protection of nature and biodiversity, green infrastructure in the form of support for the creation, enhancement and protection of regional green spaces.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE 4 – A MORE SOCIAL AND INCLUSIVE EUROPE IMPLEMENTING THE EUROPEAN SOCIAL RIGHTS BASE

• Specific Objective 4.3 – Develop new housing and accommodation places for vulnerable groups.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE 5 – A EUROPE CLOSER TO ITS CITIZENS BY ENCOURAGING SUSTAINABLE AND INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT OF ALL TYPES OF TERRITORIES AND LOCAL INITIATIVES > Specific Objective 5.1 > By promoting integrated and inclusive social, economic and environmental development, culture, natural heritage, sustainable tourism and safety in urban areas.

• Action 1: “Neighborhood facilities”, developed through sustainable neighborhood contracts.
• Action 2. 2. “Supralocal facilities”, developed under urban renewal contracts.
