District nurseries: « Rives Ouest »

The project aimed to increase the capacity of early childhood in the district by creating 2 crèches, a French-speaking and a Dutch-speaking. The result had a real impact:

Creation of 84 new places , in a district identified as disadvantaged being part of the neighborhood contract « Rives West ». These two nurseries have a policy of social care and ensure the reception of children whose parents looking for work or training.

For the French nursery (48 places), called « Les Couleurs d’Olina », it is the construction of a collective r infrastructure of 750m2 and the development of an outdoor area of ​​220 m2. The nursery project is part of a larger project comprising 8 housing units.

For the Dutch-speaking nursery (36 places), called « het Molentje », it is the renovation of a building of 500 m2 with an outdoor area of ​​175 m2. The nursery project is part of a larger project comprising 7 housing units.

In terms of job creation, the municipality estimates the creation of 39 full-time equivalents for the two crèches.
